PlasmaBind applications are educational pharmacokinetic (PK) simulation tools developed by PlasmaBind Inc., a Canadian corporation based in Alberta, Canada.
These applications are intended for research, education, and visualization purposes only. They do not provide medical diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or clinical decision support.
This Privacy Policy applies to all mobile and software applications developed and published by PlasmaBind Inc., including but not limited to:
• PlasmaBind – Vancomycin PK Simulator
• PlasmaBind – Voriconazole PK Simulator
• PlasmaBind pharmacokinetic simulation tools and future modules
This policy applies unless a specific application states otherwise.
This policy also applies to future PlasmaBind applications unless otherwise specified.
PlasmaBind applications do NOT collect, store, transmit, or share:
• Personal health information (PHI)
• Patient identifiers
• User personal data
• Device identifiers
• Usage analytics data
All calculations and simulations are performed locally and offline on the user’s device.
No information entered into the application is transmitted to external servers or third-party services.
Information entered into the application is stored temporarily in device memory only during active use.
• No data is saved to cloud services
• No user accounts are created
• No persistent databases are used
All entered data is cleared when the application is closed, restarted, or refreshed.
PlasmaBind applications do NOT use:
• Analytics services
• Tracking technologies
• Advertising networks
• Third-party SDKs
• External data collection tools
PlasmaBind applications do NOT request access to:
• Location services
• Contacts
• Camera
• Microphone
• Background tracking services
Applications may allow users to copy simulation summaries to the device clipboard.
Users are responsible for ensuring copied content does not contain patient identifiers or sensitive information.
PlasmaBind applications are intended for adult healthcare learners and professionals.
They are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age and do not knowingly collect data from minors.
PlasmaBind applications are not regulated medical devices.
They are not intended to replace:
• Clinical judgment
• Therapeutic drug monitoring
• Institutional protocols
• Professional medical advice
Users must independently validate simulation outputs against measured laboratory results and local clinical guidelines prior to any clinical use.
Use of these applications is at the user’s professional discretion.
